The Apuan Mountain Range in Carrara, Italy is where Calacatta marble is mined. This color, which has taken the world by storm, has come to represent luxury and opulence. The colours mined here have a bright white background with a foreground of striking, dramatic veins that range in tone from brown/tan to grey and gold. Unquestionably, gold is the most priceless element of all. The Calacatta Gold was created in an effort to mimic how valuable gold is. The thick, lengthy lines of beige-gold hue are contrasted, enlarged, and enhanced by the stunning white backdrop. Along the surface, there are also lengthy, thin gold-beige lines.
